BREAKING: TransCanada says Energy East pipeline won’t proceed! 

TransCanada has stated that it will not proceed with its Energy East pipeline project and the Eastern Mainline proposal.

The Energy East project was going to be a 4,500 km pipeline that would have transported about 1.1 million barrels of oil per day from Alberta and Saskatchewan to the refineries of Eastern Canada and a marine terminal in New Brunswick.
