BREAKING: Wanted man arrested in Campbellton, N.B

RCMP confirmed today via news release that on October 13th 2017, Campbellton RCMP found the wanted Listuguj First Nation, Quebec resident Issac Moffat-Swasson around 9PM.

The 27-year-old was found after information was given to them from the public saying he was seen in Campbellton.

There were previous sightings of the fugitive in Miramichi, N.B. and the public was on high alert.

RCMP released a statement:

“27-year-old Issac Moffat-Swasson of Listuguj First Nation in Quebec, who was unlawfully at large was arrested on October 13, 2017, in Campbellton, N.B.

Police from the Campbellton RCMP located and arrested Moffat-Swasson at approximately 9 p.m., after receiving information from the public that he had been seen in the Campbellton area. He was arrested without incident and has been remanded into custody.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.”
