BREAKING: Human remains identified as missing Newcastle Creek woman

The body that was discovered by a hunter on November 15th, 2017 have been confirmed to be the identify of 43-year-old woman, Susan Lee who has been missing since July 21st, 2017.

The RCMP have determined that no foul play is suspected.

RCMP Statement:

Human remains found in Napadogan have been positively identified as those of Susan Lee, a 43-year-old woman from Newcastle Creek. Lee had been reported missing to the RCMP on July 21.

On November 15, 2017, a vehicle with a body inside was discovered by a hunter in a wooded area off Route 107 in Napadogan, about 25 kilometres northwest of Stanley.

Foul play is not suspected. The investigation is continuing.
